i really stuck to my (self) word this week & went home every night after work, to work. i admit, it was quite nice not having a computer to get sucked into...so instead i just played-played-played
on the floor...with all of my loves.

after a weekend of errand running and hoppin around, i woke up sunday wanting to ride ride ride. luckily karne was in the same mood as moi. so we jumped on our bikes and rode out to jacob riis for a day at the beach! upon arrival, we kicked off our sneaks...

cracked open some beer + pringles...

and watched the day go by...

while laying in the sun.

summer - time - fun.

letters i sent today.

but i was forced to get off my bike for 2 hours while some new parts were bein put on. and it went a lil sumthin like this...

sure is nice to wander....with my lil wheels or without.

get fixed.

woke up friday mornin to a semi-broken bike
& a fully-broken computer.

1. fixed the bike
2. now on to the mac...&
we'll see what the diagnosis will be.

life must want me to take a moment to get away.

today, we showered.

and so we showered our lovely lady kelly today...with snacks, treats, delights & gifts. all in the soft sunny grass of prospect park. geez oh geez have i got SUCH the greatest ladies around me...so lucky am i. we are ready to welcome this lil one into the world, full force...with smiles, inappropriate humor & pure love.
1 month away!

tonight i revisited my love,

of wrapping. i remembered this beautiful vintage paper that i've saved for years (5-6 now)...i guess for this moment in time.

a lady has a birthday.

a beautiful oh-so-sweet lady named sara! last night a handful of people gathered at the newly opened (& delicious) saraghina in bedstuy. valincy had everything perfect: flowers on the tables, tiny golden buddas scattered about, party poppers to celebrate and a polaroid camera. she designated me polaroid taker for the night (whoohoo!!)

yummy food, wonderful people...a celebration done right.
